What is RSS

RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication and is an excellent way to keep track of numerous blogs and websites. RSS allows users to gather updated posts from various sites, including news, blogs, podcasts, wikis and more.

RSS is coded in xml and the file is then added to an RSS reader which regularly checks the website that the file is from automatically notifying the RSS reader of updated content. This wiki has an RSS feed for recent changes (wiki feed)

Feeds can usually be spotted on web sites by looking for links titled RSS, RSS 1.0, RSS 2.0, Atom, or various small icons usually red or orange in color for example a99fb0ada89761b17d52c8241e10017c
