Chinese Podcasting
Chinese Pod is a fantastic learning resource if you are learning Chinese. Honestly I would kill if there was a Korean site that did this. If anyone knows where I can find good Korean listening resources I would be very grateful. I also posted this in Lets Learn Korean.
Hat tip to Gord.

Well Chinesepod is Ok ,and I even read a blog titled as “why everyChinesepodcast has to be like Chinesepod”?I canot put the links here sorry for that
But it maybe sounds too good to be true ,the below is my personal opinion to Chinesepod , Since somany people have talk about a lot of good things about Chinesepod I am going to give something “bad"or needed to be improved about it :
1 It’s host some of them are speaking with South Accent ,which is not so obvious,
2 They don’t really interact with listeners when they podcast ,they just Blablabla ,especially I don’t understand why they don’t explain things
3 a lot of Chinese languages they were trying to teach is not standard language at all ,which gave me a feeling of very slang feeling of Chinese ,and it ruins the languages to some extent ,if people are trying to speak just to impress people
4 I don’t have chance to listen their paid versions ,but I think they need to work more on teaching side , and put more skits in it ,
5 they often push one host to speak too much ,but another one is like one people in China traditional Crosstalk show ,doesnot realy speak at all ,well maybe they think it is a good way ,but I think you have to make sure
6 too fast ,they way they are speaking Chinese is too fast I don’t think it is good ,
7 they are a little bit expensive for 9 bucks per month( at least I think)
My suggestions to Chinesepod
1 Don’t only do Podcast ,try something new
2 Levels could be divided as Low middle High but also be like
(1)Conversational Chinese
(2) Average Level Chinese ( Reading and little bit writing)
(3) Bussiness Chinese ( for People who travel and doing Bussine with China Clinet, and a lot of informations , Food ,culture ,writing ,Education etc in China )
It could be also advised that they could develop Real things Except podcast ,I DON’T know maybe they are doing this right now
I am looking forward to seeing that
The reason I don’t like Chinesepod is they don’t change much
that is why I like Google ,or Opera ,they keep changing things .

Plus I don’t understand why Chinesepod don’t pay attention to the role of Grammar in Language teaching
I am a Chinese teacher myself , and I am personally think that Grammar is very important for learning Chinese ,and could be also like a Shortcut for learning Chinese especially for Beginner
But they just don’t do it or sometimes they do it ,but do it in a sloppy way
