Thanks for putting out the All Points Bulletin for me. One ESL guru has kindly responded already, noting that there is no “Vygotsky Method,” per se, so I stand corrected. In my reply to his comment, I noted that the term was used by a friend of mine who owns and teaches at a language institute in New Zealand; my friend might have been using “Vygotsky Method” as shorthand for “language class conducted according to Vygotskian principles” or some such.
Anyway, I look forward to more responses and appreciate your post.
